Somehow after the tornado residential demand started climbing even though there were less jobs. A tornado came (and right when the first sports game started for my university’s college team so it was cancelled) and demolished a lot of the industrial zones. Strangely the problem solved itself in a way. This entire time I had almost no residential demand so I couldn’t just build houses to attract workers. The same thing sort of happened in industrial areas but I de-zoned a few that had were about to go abandoned. Even as the population rises there obviously aren’t enough workers. But the areas I had were suffering worker shortages. But then the RCI kept rising for commercial areas. (trust me, I can screw up traffic something fierce). I’m no master at it but I managed to keep the traffic to a tolerable level after I got “Capitol City” status. So I started a new city and things were going okay. I decided that I’m not going to do that anymore and try to make my next city work. I tend to start cities and get to a certain point where I messed up so much that I just throw in the towel and start over.
